Today I’ve attended, and helped to lead parts of the Youth Leader Training for Boys Brigade Officers. Whilst in one sense the world of Boys Brigade, the structure of uniform and drill are all new and foreign to me I’ve been really heartened by the vision, the heart and hope for young people that came from the Officers I met with today. I’m excited by the openess, and that whilst they are very proud of their organisation, they’re also very keen to learn from others and share experiences.
I’ve been honoured to have been welcomed and included by the leaders and look forward to developing my role as Chaplain to the 2nd Tonbridge Boys Brigade and the 1st Tonbridge Girls Brigade.
