Mother’s ‘horror show’ as Facebook gatecrashers invade birthday party: another horrific news article about a party advertised on facebook that went wrong. This seems to be happening more and more and leaves the questions how can youth workers help to limit this – should we be invesiting time talking to young people about how they host a party, and giving top tips to parents.

Not sure I feel qualified to advise anyone on how to host a party. I think perhaps more time on safe and responsible use of Facebook, etc, might be in order though.

Thanks for the comment – as i think more about it i think it makes sense – we need to share more of our knowledge of responsible use of the web, especially networking sites.
