Christian refuses to drive atheist “No God” bus

A Christian bus driver in the UK is refusing to drive because of the advertising on the side of the bus.

The British Humanist Association has been running a month-long campaign with advertising on the side of buses: “There’s probably no God – enjoy life”.  Ron Heather, a Christian driver, has objected to driving buses with that slogan on the side.

The bus company, First Bus said it would do everything it could to ensure that he did not have to drive the offending buses.  After meetings with First Bus managers on Monday, he has agreed to return to work.

  1. Well said scatheist!
By refusing to drive the busses is he saying that media should be controlled by Christians and not let people *consider* if there is a God or not, effectively brain washing people into Christianity.

If the Alpha course wanted to respond to the new adverts, how about a poster with:
We confidently believe in a God that exists. Come and freely discuss what else we believe so you can enjoy your life (and the time after it) by knowing God.
