According to the BBC, and the Official Google Blog, Gmail went offline for roughly two and a half hours early this morning—with some users reporting up to four hours of downtime. It was frustrating but not critical for me, but it does worry me that something as big as Google can down for such a period of time – just imagine if it had been facebook!
