This week tbcYouth hosted a Bash the Trash for schools in our community. It was great to see young people giving up an hour of their time to tidy up their local community. With 30 pupils from 2 schools we collected over 20 bags full of rubbish, well done guys!
As a church we host a community Bash the Trash four times a year, and we’re hoping to make this schools version happen three times a year, and to grow with more schools and pupils getting involved until it has approx. 100 pupils helping each time, from the roughly 1600 pupils that go to our local primary and secondary schools.
