I really enjoyed Branson’s account of his life and business ventures.
It is a book that captures the imagination, and left me wanting more. He comes across as caring person centred guy who tries to have real integrity in his dealings. I love the way in which he takes pleasure from breaking the business mould both in the way that he seems to flit from here to there doing whatever takes his interest, but also in the way that he has deliberately not built a massive company under Virgin, but instead built several hundred small companies under the Virgin banner, allowing for smaller more personalised staffing. Add this to his various balloon flights and the book shows a wide range of his life.
It is real is one of those books you can’t put down and leaves you with high respect for a British business role model.
