I used Loved for Who I am by Carlo Maria Martini to help guide some of my quiet times whilst away on retreat. The book was originally written as a retreat for young people, but it has become a spiritual classic in its own right. Cardinal Martini opens up scripture using Lectio Divina and encourages us to ask “Who am I” and “Who is my God”. The book is split into 9 sessions each with a bible passage, some reflections and some commentary from the Cardinal.
