Imagine trying to learn this instrument in school - carrying it on the bus! The contrabass saxaphone is a very rare instrument, there were only 25 ‘real’ contrabass made, and they are massive (about 6 foot 4 inches) and heavy (Over 20 kg).

The BBC is reporting that Universal Music has ended its search for “monks, men of the cloth and sacred singers”. The Heiligenkreuz monastery won after submitting a YouTube clip. The Cistercian monastery, in the Vienna woods, is home to 80 monks and dates back to 1133.

How inappropriate is modern music? Church Relevance have highlighted some statistics, where researchers analaysed Billboard magazine’s top 279 most popular songs of 2005 to determine what percentage of songs referenced tobacco, alcohol, and drug use. Here are some highlights from their findings:
