I was directed to your blog by Max Lucado on Facebook. He has recently become my favourite writer. Thank you for telling me your views on one of his books. I have read, “Just Like Jesus,” am on my way to reading, “In The Eye of the Storm,” and now this one will come next.
Just Like Jesus, makes you want to change for the better too. : )
Thanks Marylou, I’ll certainly check out “Just like Jesus”. Where did you see my review on facebook, I’d love to than whoever has put it out there.
Hi Chris,
Your blog was mentioned by Max Lucado himself. “Looking to set some goals for 2011? Check out how one reader is using Max Lucado’s Outlive Your Life to do just that! http://bit.ly/foMWOb“. On his facebook…

How cool is that?!? 🙂
I enjoyed your blog. Some good stuff Mr. Lucado writes. I’ve been reading his books for years.
What a great review. Thank you for sharing. And you’re right…it does read very easily as do most of Max’s books. He really knows how to explore the Bible and important Christian teachings in very easy, to understand ways. I’m actually working with Thomas Nelson on the Lucado Life Lessons Study Bible, which is the companion Bible to Outlive Your Life. It’s full of great daily application. If you’re interested, we also just released a free 365-day mobile app for both iPhone and Android that is based upon the Bible. It’s a an awesome little app and a great way to experience this particular Bible. Just thought I would share. Thanks and Happy New Year.

Not sure if you’ve heard of it, but Max also released a companion Bible to Outlive Your Life called the Lucado Life Lessons Bible. I’m actually working with Thomas Nelson on it. It’s full of great daily application and provides wonderful insight into passages throughout the Bible. As a matter of fact, we just launched a free 365-day mobile app for both iPhone and Android that is based upon the Bible.
