The weekend that was: I spent the weekend at Felden Lodge as chaplain to the North West Kent Battalion Young Leaders Training Weekend (what a title!).  I’ll comment more about that in another post, but it was a good time away, and really good venue to visit.

It has been a priviledge to have been involved in so many different weekends away over the last four weekends, but it is with some excitement that I look forward to a more ‘normal’ weekend at home next weekend.

On my task list this week: Preparing an assembly for an OFSTED inspection at a local school, sorting the office and emails having spent the last few weeks concentrating on the weekends away.

Procrastinating about: Getting little jobs done at home for Hannah.

Book I’m in the midst of: Not had much chance recently with weekends away so still reading Hot, Flat and Crowded: Why the World Needs a Green Revolution by Thomas L. Friedman.

Music that I’ve been working along to: Really enjoying music by Bluetree.

How I’m feeling about this week: I’m tired, and hoping for a more ‘normal’ week that doesn’t throw up too many surprises.

Married to the amazing Sarah and raising Jakey, Daniel, Amelia, Josh & Jonah in our blended family. Passionate for Jesus, social work & sport.
