I recently read the latest CPYU Youth Culture Update which linked through to a Teens and Texting Factsheet from CPYU’s Digital Kids Initiative.
Although from an American context many of these will be similar for the UK. Even as someone who has worked with teenagers I found some of these statistics surprising. Take a look and reflect on how they affect the way we communicate with young people:
