Leonard Sweet is an interesting author. I’ve recently finished his book Learn to Dance the Soul Salsa: 17 steps for Godly living in the 21st centruy. Sweet writes a wonderful book on how Christians should live in the 21st century, in the postmodern era. The book attempts to use ancient faith practices and suggest ways in which they can acted out in the modern world, for example what does it mean to mezuzah your universe; or to never graduate; and build a compost heap.
It’s very fashionable at the moment to talk about moving back to ancient practices, but this is something Sweet has been writing about for a while. His book is a good attempt at sharing prophetically how Christians could, and maybe should live.
