Loved reading about this ‘environmentally friendly’ surfboard launched by Eden Project:
The new board was produced by the Eden Project and started life as a giant balsa tree which fell to the ground in the Rainforest Biome at its site near St Austell, Cornwall, in south west England.
The move is considered a significant step forward from the petroleum chemicals used in traditional surfboard production.
Great news for a sport which has been so forward in campaigning on green issues.
That’s what you get in a prosperous country. You get paid for anything and any cost as long as there is a demand.
