Dibden Minis, Dibden Kids and Dibden Youth works because lots and lots of people are involved in supporting the project, some give time, others money or expertise and then there’s always things you might have that would be very helpful.

If you have 15 minutes a week…

  • write an encouraging note to a young person
  • make a phone call to a young person
  • initiate two 1-on-1 conversations before or after meetings

If you have 30 minutes a week…

  • do two of the above ideas
  • help with 30 minutes of a youth event (e.g. sports/drama)
  • volunteer to have a coke/coffee with a young person
  • take a young person on an errand with you
  • write a letter to a parent
  • commit to praying regularly for the work

If you have 2 hours a week…

  • have lunch with a parent
  • help someone with their homework
  • join the teams leading the various children’s and youth groups
  • help out in the Children’s & Youth part of the Parish Office
  • organise a note-writing campaign for adult leaders
  • volunteer to help with the school work
  • help create a resource library for lessons and talks

If you have 4 hours a week…

  • organise and lead one of our groups
  • read some children’s and youth ministry books
  • do some further study
  • wash and polish Chris’ bicycle!

If you would like to help in one of these ways or another please contact us in the Parish Office.  Could you help us in one of these ways or in another way?  Let us know, we’d love to hear from you.
