The creator of a sand castle built nearly 32 feet high to raise funds for terminally ill children and their families hopes the structure will be named the world’s tallest. Organizers said that the elaborate sand castle measured a height of 31 feet, 7 inches. More than 1,000 people volunteered over the past two months to help build the castle, which used 40 dump truck loads of sand, organizers said.

  1. Having been to Taize most years for five years now, I know the brothers there manage technology and the lack of it rather well. In fact, one of the brothers I know well is the webmaster and their page is excellent and very modern, even though the community itself isn’t old fashioned as such but has no unnecessary technology, if you know waht I mean.

The brother described to us once how each of the brothers is expected to learn a new foreign language so they can welcome people from that country when the visit and learning how to make a webpage was just another such language really.
