Thank You

One of the greatest ways you can make an impact on your team of volunteers only takes a few minutes each week.  Very simply sit down and hand write a few thank you notes and send it to their home.  Ensure that each volunteer regularly gets a personal thank you.

Be specific about what you are thankful for, whether it’s coming to help with a smile on their face each time they turn up at an activity, a contribution to a recent event, work with a particular young person, and so on.  To make the note even more special thank their wife/husband (if they have one) and thank them for sharing their spouse’s gifts and talents with you and the church.

Go for it, that’s some of what I’ll be doing tomorrow.
